Maranatha is nestled on the shore of Lake Michigan near Muskegon, Michigan.
From Grand Rapids, Lansing, Detroit and other points east taking I-96 into Muskegon:
Fastest Route: I-96 becomes Business 31 / Seaway Drive, about two miles after the road becomes Business 31 there will be a split. Stay to the left (stay on Business 31 / Seaway Drive). Continue on to Seminole and make a left on Seminole (this will be the third traffic light after the road turns into Seaway Drive). Take Seminole to Lake Harbor Road, then make a left on Lake Harbor Road to Maranatha (directly on the right after the bridge).
Scenic Route:
Follow I-96 west to Exit 4 (Airline Road – Fruitport). Follow the signs to Hoffmaster State Park. You will take Airline Road south to Pontaluna Road. You will then turn right (west) on Pontaluna. Follow the road to Hoffmaster State Park, continue on this road as it curves north by the park and turns in to Lake Harbor Road. Continue and you will see Maranatha on the left (west side of the road).
From Ludington, Traverse City and other points north taking US 31 into Muskegon:
Take US 31 south to the Pontaluna Road exit, south of Muskegon. Turn right (west) on Pontaluna. Follow the signs to Hoffmaster State Park, continue on this road as it curves north by the state park and turns in to Lake Harbor Road. Continue and you will see Maranatha on the left (west side of the road).
From Grand Haven, Holland and other points south taking US 31 toward Muskegon:
Take US 31 north to the Pontaluna Road exit, north of Grand Haven. Turn left (west) on Pontaluna. Follow the signs to Hoffmaster State Park, continue on this road as it curves north by the state park and turns in to Lake Harbor Road. Continue and you will see Maranatha on the left (west side of the road).
From Newago, and other points north-east taking M-46 into Muskegon:
Take M-46 (Apple Avenue) west toward Muskegon until you reach US 31. Take US 31 south to the Pontaluna Road exit, south of Muskegon. Turn right (west) on Pontaluna. Follow the signs to Hoffmaster State Park, continue on this road as it curves north by the state park and turns in to Lake Harbor Road. Continue and you will see Maranatha on the left (west side of the road).
