Do you have a Few Extra Bibles?

Hey all, I received this email today, and thought I’d pass in along. It doesn’t have anything to do with writing the message of the kingdom, but has everything to do with building the kingdom.  If you have a few extra bibles laying around the house, think about supporting this outreach in Bay City, MI.

Hello Everyone:

Our church, New Hope Baptist, in Bay City, Michigan has begun a new ministry. We are collecting used Bibles and giving them to people who don’t have one. To do this, we are using merchants in the community to hand them out along with what we do personally. In 10 days we have distributed 27 Bibles, and the thirst for Bibles here is great. Please pray that the Lord will keep bringing favor to us as we approach these places.

We have three bars, three liquor stores, and one tattoo shop distributing Bibles for us so far. The Lord is working in a mighty way in Bay City.

What I would like you to consider is perhaps starting such a ministry in your town. Bring it to the attention of your church, friends, relatives etc. and get the churches in the community helping you collect Bibles. Some churches here have even given new Bibles to our ministry to distribute. But the need is very great.

If you or your church is led to do so, we would appreciate help collecting Bibles for us and sending them. Thank you for your help and may God bless you in this endeavor.
